Yamas & Niyamas Study

Yamas & Niyamas are the first two limbs of the 8 Limbs of Yoga outlined in the Yoga Sutras - the sacred yoga texts.  The 8-Limbs are a step by step path to create a well rounded wholly healthy being - both body & mind.

Each containing 5 elements, the Yamas & Niyamas are the moral compass to living right and the base Foundation of Yoga. They are the Yoga for our state of mind and are precursors to Asana - the 3rd limb - the physical yoga postures.

This in-depth, committed journey together over 40 weeks will open the doors to getting deeply curious and taking an eagle eye view of how we are living our lives. We will explore together, online,  one element of the Yamas & Niyamas over 4 weeks - a deep dive of getting curious about topics such as Non-Violance (Ahimsa), Truthfulness (Satya), Non-Possessiveness (Aparigraha), Self-Discipline (Tapas) and more.

Once a month we will meet together in Zoom to open discussion of the focused Yama/Niyama. An opportunity to come together as a collective to start saturating our being in the Teaching we will be deeply embodying over the following weeks. A weekly Voice Memo will be made available outlining the journal prompt we will be getting curious about for the week .
